The Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) is the Department of State’s law enforcement agency responsible for the safety and security of the Mission’s people and facility. The Regional Security Office is managed by special agents of the U.S. Diplomatic Security Services, coordinating all aspects of a mission’s security program. The RSO works closely with the United Nations security and other federal and local law enforcement agencies to assure the security of the mission.
